According to gaming media outlet Insider Gaming today, Ubisoft has just released its financial report for the first half of the 2025‑26 fiscal year, which the company had previously delayed.

Ubisoft’s financial hints point to a possible launch of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Remake in March next year

According to the report, Ubisoft said in its financial presentation that an “unannounced game” is set to launch before the end of the current fiscal year (March 31, 2026). The presentation listed games including Rainbow Six Mobile, The Division: Dystopia Dawn (translated from “全境封锁：曙光”), and Anno 117: Rome Peace.
Insider Gaming speculates that this “unannounced game” is the Black Flag remake, which is reportedly planned for release on March 23, 2026. If true, Ubisoft could officially announce it on December 11, 2025, at The Game Awards (TGA) and reveal more content.

The original Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was released on October 29, 2013, on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. It is the sixth main game in the Assassin’s Creed series and the fourth true sequel, and serves as a prequel to Assassin’s Creed III.
The game’s story takes place in the early 18th-century Caribbean during the golden age of piracy.
