Meeting at the Banquet & the Warship Mission

At the banquet, you meet 容鸢 (Rong Yuan) — she is one of the three people we saw earlier in Fanlou who wanted to view the Treasure Basin, along with the Nine‑Ways Sect leader, the envoy (Shen Yilun), and Rong Yuan herself.

Rong Yuan is in charge of supervising warship construction for the Song dynasty, with the intention of preparing for future campaigns against Later Shu and Southern Tang.

You also invite three distinguished guests — all based on historical figures:

• The ex‑prince of Later Shu, 孟玄喆 (Meng Xuanzhe)
• The Southern Tang water department official 顾彝 (Gu Yi)
• 石守信 (Shi Shouxin) and his eldest son 石贞 (Shi Zhen) — whom you previously met in the underground armory at the Wucheng Wang Temple. Shi Shouxin was a founding general of the Northern Song dynasty and one of Zhao Kuangyin’s “义社十兄弟.”

After the Banquet — Uncovering Plans & Boarding the Warship

After the feast ends, during conversations, Shi Shouxin asks you to help gather information about his old friend 慕容延钊 — another prominent founding general of Northern Song. Two years ago, he helped Shi Shouxin suppress a rebellion led by the then-military governor, a major rebellion tied to the warlord Li Jun.

Gu Yi nostalgically mentions the “Fourteen Northern Prefectures along the River (江北十四州)” — once controlled under Emperor Chai Rong — territories lost by Southern Tang.

Finally, you meet with Rong Yuan and the prefect 赵光义 (Zhao Guangyi), and set out for the warship “Wuya” (五牙战舰).

Infiltrating the Warship — Stealth & Shipboard Intrigue

You wall‑run across rooftops, then drop into water from beside a willow tree, dive underwater to sneak into the waterway beneath the plaza, and then climb to the rooftop to follow Meng Xuanzhe (the ex‑prince).

Follow him until the cutscene triggers: within 5 minutes, you must knock out the envoy Meng Xuanzhe, defeat the guard commander 郝世忠 (Hao Shizhong), then ride the cable‑car aboard the ship.

Once aboard, take the elevator up to meet Murong Yanzhao (the general). Touch the wine cup, inspect the portraits — Murong Yanzhao will talk about Li Jun, Shi Shouxin, and relate them to the historical events of “Yellow Robe Coronation” (黄袍加身) and “Relinquishing Military Power over a Cup of Wine” (杯酒释兵权).

After Li Jun’s defeat and self‑immolation, he entrusted his family — including his daughter Rong Yuan — to Murong Yanzhao’s care.

On the wall are four portraits representing:

• Zhao Kuangyin, after he took the throne (Yellow Robe Coronation)
• Shi Shouxin
• Li Jun
• Murong Yanzhao

You must place four pieces of armor (armor sets) before the matching portraits. Three armors are inside the room; Murong Yanzhao’s armor is outside.

Leave the room — Murong’s armor is in the corridor on the right. Collect it, then return and place all four armors in front of their portraits. Doing so opens a door to a secret chamber.

Inside the secret chamber, you get a key and a blueprint. From the blueprint, you learn the following mission: enter the drainage chamber (排水室), pass through the counterweight room, then take the elevator down to a self‑destruct device. The chest also contains the wood‑kite blueprint (木鸢图纸), which will be used in a later mission.

After obtaining everything, leave through a hole in the floor.

Flooding the Ship & Confrontation

Follow the floor hole down, defeat 全子龙 (Quan Zilong) to unlock a door leading to the drainage chamber. They pull the levers on both sides to release water.

In the west cabin, shoot a bell to trigger a mechanism, then quickly climb a ladder and use Acupoint Strike to break the magic ring. This opens the next door.

Climb up through the drainage system, ring another bell, shoot the ring to open another door, then pull the lever to continue draining. As the water rises, proceed forward.

At the elevator you used to arrive, climb down again to find Rong Yuan.

In the boss fight, it’s recommended to use “Ally Assistance” to summon help. In phase two, Rong Yuan and her “Wood‑Kite” will alternate — once you reduce Rong Yuan’s HP to zero, the story will advance.

After defeating Rong Yuan, you’ll collect fragments of the wood‑kite from the water.

At the shore, the fisherman demands a “Bomb Blueprint” to open a nearby treasure chest — that blueprint is part of Rong Yuan’s follow-up quest, which you need to continue later.
