Evening at Jingtan — Trigger “Eagle’s Shadow Follows” (鸢影相随)

• At dusk, go to the Jingtan (镜潭) teleport‑point area — this can trigger the wandering tale “Eagle’s Shadow Follows” (鸢影相随) (requires having completed the previous Jinming‑Pool task).
• Once triggered, follow the quest marker: inspect the crossbow (弩) and then talk to the little girl Zhen Zhen (真真).
• Give Zhen Zhen the “Wooden Eagle Mechanism Blueprint” (机关木鸢的图纸) that you obtained from the warship (Wuya) mission. Then set the in‑game time to the appropriate hour and head to Zijiang Residence (梓匠居) to find her.

Afterwards: you accompany her home for a meal, persuade her, then talk with several NPCs — including an old shipwright, a man called Li Er, and 石守信 (Shi Shouxin) — to gather clues.

Discovering the Hidden Tunnel & the Truth Behind Rong Yuan

• At an abandoned shrine, you discover a secret tunnel entrance. Go down into the cave — inside you find the “Explosive Device Blueprint” (爆炸机括图纸) and several letters. From those letters, you learn that Rong Yuan is seeking revenge for her father’s death.
• At the end of the tunnel, you’ll see a distant structure — that’s revealed to be Rong Yuan’s secret base, which will become relevant in later tasks.
• After clearing minor enemies, 李守节 (Li Shoujie) appears — he is historically the son of Li Jun, and also Rong Yuan’s younger brother.
• Then go to the Wucheng‑Wang Temple (武成王庙) and talk to Shi Shouxin to learn more about the background and the relationship between these characters.

Returning to Zijiang Residence & Next Task

• Go back to Zijiang Residence and find Zhen Zhen; then wait two real‑world days (in‑game time doesn’t matter). Then, return to Jingtan and speak with Zhen Zhen again to continue the story.
• 
• On the suspension bridge above Jingtan, you meet Li Shoujie again. He asks you to help retrieve three fragments of the “Wooden Eagle” for his sister Rong Yuan.
• The fragments are located at:
  1. A cave at the top of the waterfall, near the pavilion beside Jingtan.
  2. A submerged underwater cave near the pavilion.
  3. In front of a tombstone at a marked location.
• After retrieving all three fragments, return to Li Shoujie and hand them over. Then return to the fisherman, give him the “Explosive Device Blueprint”, and he’ll unlock a treasure chest for you.

New Goal: Recover the Ink‑Sect Token & Infiltrate the Shrine

• Back at Zijiang Residence, you meet 冯继升 (Feng Jisheng) — he asks you to help retrieve an Ink‑Sect token.
• Go to the Luban Shrine (鲁班祠) entrance. Help a shipwright find his lost money bag — it’s hidden in a nearby corner. Then enter the shrine, where you’ll meet a disguised Rong Yuan.
• Rong Yuan will instruct you to find two jade artifacts: one at a kiln (瓦窑), behind the kiln house, there’s a hidden passage; the other at a sculpture site (造像处) — this site involves a more complex puzzle.
• Once you retrieve both jade pieces, return to the shrine and read the note Rong Yuan left behind. Then dive into the water underneath (inside the shrine) — there’s a puzzle that needs solving to unlock a treasure.

The Puzzle — Bell & Ring Mechanisms

• To open the chest, you need to destroy three “sound rings” (圆环):
  1. One ring is on a nearby wall.
  2. Another is visible from above when riding the cable car — stand on the cable car, shoot the bell above the chest, then quickly destroy the ring.
  3. The third is deeper inside — after using the cable car, progress to the end, find that ring and bell; shoot the bell and break the ring to open the chest.
• Inside the chest is the third jade piece. Once all three jade pieces are obtained, Rong Yuan appears. After she leaves, return the Ink‑Sect token to Feng Jisheng.
