Recently, blogger V SCOOPER reported that the development team behind the new Tomb Raider title has “remade” parts of the project, aiming to improve character portrayal. Lara Croft will reportedly enter the prime of her career in this upcoming instalment.

According to the leaked details, the new game will focus on Lara at the peak of her professional life. Her mission centres on tracking down the mysterious weapon of Ashoka, the king of the Maurya (Peacock) Empire in India—a weapon rumoured to possess the power to grant dominion over the world.

The game is said to feature a vast, open-world design, with highly challenging environments that span multiple extreme terrains, including harsh deserts, treacherous cliffs, dense jungles, and frozen mountain ranges.

Additionally, the leak mentions possible rival factions. Previous reports suggested that the “Society of Raiders” might serve as Lara’s opposing organisation in the new game. However, the latest source notes that it remains unclear whether this concept is still in an experimental phase or belongs to a different project altogether.
