Alibaba announced today that its "Tongyi Qianwen" (千问) App has surpassed 10 million downloads in just one week since its public beta launch.

Officially, this achievement makes Qianwen the fastest-growing AI application in history, surpassing ChatGPT, Sora, and DeepSeek.

According to IT Home, the Qianwen App officially launched its public beta on November 17, positioning itself as the best personal AI assistant powered by "the strongest model" — built on Tongyi Qianwen (Qwen), the world's leading open-source large language model.

Officially described, the Qianwen App not only engages in "conversations" with users but, more importantly, "gets things done" for them. It aims to become the AI portal for future daily life, gradually covering multiple scenarios including productivity, maps/navigation, health, shopping, and more.

Alibaba stated that the current Qianwen App is an initial version. The company will leverage the most advanced models to build a personal AI assistant that is both "great at chatting and capable of handling tasks." Beyond intelligent conversation, the ability to "get things done" will be a key focus area for the Qianwen App. Its strategic goal is to become the AI entrance to future lifestyles.
