Version 6.3 will introduce two brand-new artefact sets. One is a bespoke set explicitly tailored for the new character Columbina, while the other is Durin's Magic Conductor set, brimming with mysterious magical elements and powerful arcane forces that perfectly complement Durin's character design.
Uncle (the leaker) also shared details on the new character, White Horse Immortal. It's confirmed that the character is female, designed as a teammate for the "Girl" character, and offers unique team-building strategies. If positioning White Horse Immortal as the main DPS, pair it with the Dome Realm set to boost output. Conversely, if the Girl character is the main DPS, equip her with the Dome Realm set and give White Horse Immortal one of the new sets—this combo maximises team combat efficiency.
Additionally, the Magic Conductor set isn't just for Durin; it could serve as a universal DPS option for magic teams. Its standout feature is that it's viable for both on-field defence and off-field support. Characters like Faruzan, Durin, Venti, Klee, and Albedo can all equip it to enhance their performance.
The new artefact set for the Girl character in 6.3 has also been confirmed. Based on current intel, she's unlikely to be a front-line main DPS. As a Moon system character, the Dome Mirror set suffices for on-field DPS needs. Instead, she may function as an off-field sub-DPS or pure support—and she's likely to feature dual templates. Honestly, many players find the 6.3 artefact lineup unreasonable: one set for the Girl, the other presumably for Durin. This is particularly tough for players planning to pull Columbina, as the artefact domains are a nightmare without a first-week Crisis War event. Farming with Moon characters is inefficient, and the yields may not meet demands, souring the experience. If Durin's strength partially hinges on this new set, he won't debut at full power in 6.2, potentially impacting his sales.
Of course, some players have a different theory: the two 6.3 sets could be one specialised for the Girl and Witch characters, with the main DPS set used by Faruzan (and equippable by Durin Black Dragon). But White-Dur lack dedicated sets, so launching them early would feel awkward—hence saving them for 6.3.
Uncle also dropped a fun tidbit: Girl Columbina will have dual splash arts—one with eyes open and one closed—tied to white accessories. Dual splashes aren't rare in Genshin Impact. Still, players are excited about the unique outfit animations for the Girl character, similar to Furina's black-and-white dress swaps or Sigewinne's two distinct styles, which have delivered plenty of surprises.
