Zootopia 2 is set to be released in Japan on December 5, and renowned game producer Hideo Kojima has also lent his voice to the Japanese version. Kojima voices the mole named Paul, who gets sprayed out of a police station by a drink. Kojima commented: "Although I’ve made cameos in live-action movies and games several times, this is my first time doing voice acting for an animated film, especially for a Zootopia sequel! I’m truly honoured and immediately accepted the invitation. Although my role is small, I could feel the high quality of the production during the recording. Since I could see the animation, the voice acting process went very smoothly."
