Rumors surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6), the highly anticipated new game from Rockstar Games, are intensifying rapidly.

After well-known leaker Nash Weedle claimed that GTA 6 is being developed for the Nintendo Switch 2 platform, another reliable leaker, NateTheHate2, spoke up and further confirmed the news.

NateTheHate2 recently posted on social media, adding new credibility to the rumor of GTA 6 arriving on Switch 2.

He stated:

“I said a long time ago that Rockstar is testing whether they can bring it to Switch 2, but testing doesn’t always equal final release. I know they’ve been working on it, trying to see if they can bring it to this platform.”

NateTheHate2 emphasized that although he is not aware of the “latest progress” of this porting effort, he confirms that Rockstar is indeed making an effort toward it.

Previously, leaker Nash Weedle disclosed that the Switch 2 version of GTA 6 would not launch simultaneously with the console release. This series of messages suggests that, although GTA 6’s technical requirements are incredibly high, Rockstar does hope to bring GTA 6 to Switch, and is actively attempting to do so.

Given that two well-known leakers are pointing in the same direction, the possibility that Switch 2 players will ultimately get this open-world blockbuster has significantly increased. However, until an official announcement is made, players should remain cautious about all rumors.
