The 2013‐released game Tomb Raider 9 has now been ported by Aspyr to the Nintendo Switch and Switch two platforms. On YouTube, content creator ElAnalistaDeBits has published a comparison video showing the PS4 version versus the Switch 2 version of Tomb Raider 9.

On the Switch 2 version, the most noticeable downgrades are in hair rendering, shadow effects, vegetation rendering, and the global illumination system. Compared to the PS4 version, the Switch version includes additional trees/vegetation. In terms of performance, the Switch 2 version is capable of outputting a stable 1080p resolution at 60 fps, whereas the original PS4 version ran at only 900p resolution and occasionally experienced frame drops.
