According to TheGamePost, Destiny leaker and dataminer Colony Deakshas posted on Twitter, claiming that Destiny 3 is currently in an extremely early stage of development at Bungie.

Colony Deakshas has previously leaked accurate information regarding both the Destiny and Marathon franchises, with several of his past leaks later verified by The Game Post. Therefore, although this latest claim remains unconfirmed, it originates from a source with substantial experience in Bungie projects.

Sources familiar with the situation reportedly said that, because the project is still in its early infancy, discussing it publicly was not appropriate. For this reason, they had kept the information concealed for several weeks. However, after another account posted similar claims earlier today, they decided to reveal it.

“Yes, Destiny 3 is currently still in a very early phase of development,” his post reads. “Some of you may have seen tweets mentioning this earlier this afternoon. We’ve been keeping this quiet for several weeks—given how early things are, we wanted to wait before sharing the news. It’s frustrating to see others casually post this information to chase likes.”
