Additional Notes |
Multi‑channel memory configuration is recommended, an SSD must be used; if SSD performance is insufficient, the gameplay experience may be affected. At the lightest graphics setting, you can expect ~1080p @ 30 fps (with upscaling). |
Multi‑channel memory recommended; an SSD of NVMe interface is strongly recommended. At standard graphics settings, one can expect ~1080p @ 60 fps (with upscaling). |
The outlet Wccftech noted that although the requirements appear relatively modest, previous titles under Koei experienced serious performance issues at launch, needing far stronger hardware than the official recommendations for smooth play.
According to the official description, Nioh 3 is an action RPG where the samurai‑style combat of the series continues, featuring close‑quarters melee fights, an open‑map design where players face powerful yokai, explore eerie villages laden with danger, and challenge a “Crucible” of fear in the dark Sengoku world.
Within the game, players can choose between two combat styles: “Samurai” and “Ninja”. Samurai style echoes the traditional Nioh series style. It introduces new moves, such as “Arts Proficiency,” which boosts martial skill power, and “Deflect,” which allows for last-moment blocking of enemy attacks. Ninja style emphasises swift movement and aerial action, allowing players to utilise ninjutsu for ranged attacks.
The game will launch on PS5 and Steam. An alpha trial version ended on June 18 this year.
