Match Report – Game 1

MVP: T1’s jungler Oner — who controlled essentially all neutral objectives (aside from the nest-worms) and anchored T1’s decisive victory.

Draft & early game

T1 entered the game with a calm, objective-centric mindset. Top Esports managed to hold a stable economy in the early game, but struggled to wrest control of key neutral resources.

• At 3′: Top Esports’ jungler Kanavi on “Monkey” invaded Oner’s red buff, but Oner countered by using a wall-punish on his own red buff and turned Kanavi away empty-handed.
• At 6′: Oner in turn invaded TES’s F6 jungle; T1’s top-side support chain (with Keria on Karma and others) locked down the kill on Oner’s side — but Oner managed to get away with no death, while Kanavi’s invasion attempt cost him First Blood to … Oner.

From here, T1 began to consolidate vision, control of dragons and herald-type objectives, and slowly built momentum despite TES holding lane and farm parity.

Mid-game shifting points

• At 17′: The match went into its second pause. After the break, T1 secured their second dragon, quietly increasing their buff control.
• At 23′: T1 forced TES’s ADC JackeyLove on Sivir to use both ultimate and Flash defensively; T1 then collapsed around the next dragon and secured a “dragon-match-point” style scenario: TES were simply unable to contest.
• At 25′: A defining fight at the Rift Herald-/Baron-adjacent zone (“Erta Khan” fight). TES’s top laner 369 on Q Santi was caught in irons by T1’s pressure: Kanavi on Monkey got pinned by TES’s Doran on Sion, but 369 was chunked down to near death, opened up by T1’s follow-up. Oner’s flank on Xin Zhao was alive and fighting, gave no deaths, and T1 both cleaned up kills and took down Baron (“the big dragon”) immediately afterward.

Closing sequence

• At 27′: Keria on Leona initiated a fight. TES’s Creme (Akali) and Kanavi (Monkey) attempted to counter-in, but they took down T1’s Varus. However, the numbers collapsed, as Oner stayed alive and powerful, and T1 pulled off a 2-for-4 exchange in their favor.
• At 30′, Kanavi again was caught out. TES began funneling into death after death, one member after another dropped. T1 seized the advantage and executed a flawless end-game push to end the match.

Summary

Though Top Esports held respectable laning farm and economy for much of the early game, T1 dominated neutral map control — chiefly through Oner’s jungle pathing, vision control, objective timing, and decisive team-fight presence. The turning point came when TES attempted to fight near the Baron/dragon side and got punished by T1’s superior coordination and clean flanks. Once the Baron fell, T1’s siege and clean-up were unstoppable.

In short, T1 didn’t let TES win by lane alone — they took over the map, took over the resources, and then ended with a dominant final team fight.
