From Jinshuimen Street — following the Canglang Sword Manual lead

Go to Jinshuimen Street to eavesdrop on rumors about the lost Canglang Sword Manual.

Then sneak into the home of 赵普 (Zhao Pu) by slipping through a crack in the wall. Inside, you meet his eldest son 赵承宗 (Zhao Chengzong).

Break a stone mortar to rescue Zhao Chengzong’s cricket.
When the steward shows up, jump from the pond to the rooftops and follow the steward’s wife.

Talk with Zhao Chengzong, then continue across the rooftops and go around to the back, where there are no guards, to steal a key from the building.

Once the guards are tricked away, enter the main room. You discover:

• A love letter from Zhao Pu
• Hidden cash under the bed

On the left side of the main hall, take a bunch of throwing darts from a cabinet, then use one to trigger a mechanism that opens a secret passage.

Enter the secret chamber.

Inside the underground chamber, the main door is locked. You must work together with Zhao Chengzong to open it.
Search every corner; each sub‑chamber has stairs leading upward.

Upstairs, you find another dart. Use it to activate a hidden door. Have Zhao Chengzong pull a lever while you slip through. Then open another door so he can join you.

Deeper within, there’s a small central tower with three mechanisms — you need three darts: two found on the left side, one on the right.

• On the left, trigger the mechanism to open a door; inside is a treasure chest and a dart. There’s another dart just outside that door.
• On the right: open a cabinet, crawl through the hole — inside, activate a mechanism (through a straw dummy) and take the dart.

Use the three darts to activate all three tower mechanisms — this opens the final chamber. Inside the chest, you retrieve the Canglang Sword‑Technique Manual (沧浪剑诀心法).

Nearby, you also find another dart, a wanted poster, and you spot the Night Garb of the Star‑Snatcher (摘星手夜行衣).

On a desk, you find a secret letter. Use a dart to open a hidden door in the side wall; the letter reveals that Zhao Pu’s order to “Relinquish Military Power over a Cup of Wine” (杯酒释兵权) has caused him serious trouble. You can exit through the newly opened passage.

Return upstairs and talk with Zhao Pu’s wife to complete the central part of the quest (and you may want to speak with her again before leaving).

Follow‑up: “Snowy Night Strategy” Event

After finishing that quest, go to the Jinshuimen Street fast‑travel point at night to trigger the “Snowy Night Strategy” (雪夜定策) event. If it doesn’t trigger immediately, try again the next real‑world day when you reload the game.

Go upstairs to the same place where you spoke with Zhao Pu’s wife, and read the letter on the table. It reveals that Steward Xu has reported her, claiming “Zhao Da and Zhao Er are shady jianghu types.”

Then you arrive at a famous historical scene: Zhao Kuangyin and Zhao Pu argue about the unification strategy of the forthcoming Song dynasty — whether to conquer the north first, then the south, or the south first, then the north.

In this version:

• Yanyun lamb (燕云羊肉) represents the North
• Jiangnan fish (江南鱼肉) represents the South

Because there’s no lamb available, you only manage to buy fish — so the decision is made: South first, then North. This dramatization adds a twist by including “Zhao Er” in the debate.
