“One Leaf, One Life” (一叶平生) — English Version (Your Section)
On South Gate Avenue (南门大街) in southern Kaifeng, there’s a house on fire. Go there to trigger the “One-Leaf Banquet” (一叶宴) story.
- Speak with the quarrelling couple, then ask the onlookers for more information.
- Eavesdrop on a suspicious person’s conversation, then approach and speak to them.
- Go to Tianjing Ferry (天京渡), set the time to the next day at noon, and talk to the hiring foreman.
- You’ll discover someone is framing the couple. Investigate the odd details inside the house, then go outside and examine the corpse.
- Follow the joss paper on the ground to expose Lu San’er’s scheme.
Next, start the second task “Leafless Letter” (无叶书): listen to Zheng Ran tell her story, then escort her home.
After Zheng Ran’s story segment, read the stele beside the Undying Tree (不死树) to learn about the historical Khitan invasion.
After catching up to Zhou Ergou, you’ll find many people carrying golden leaves. This unlocks six mini-tasks—you must clear all six to unlock the final task.

The six mini-tasks (as in your notes)
- Use Acupoint Strike (点穴) to immobilise Zhou Ergou.
- Rescue Fu Wenshu from thugs, then heal him with your medical/“Xuanhu” ability (悬壶).
- Rescue a merchant from thugs.
- Defeat the ruffians outside the tavern; the owner will give you a recipe.
- Wait while Zhou Qiqi watches a thief. When the thief is actively stealing, use Acupoint Strike to immobilise them, then escort Zhou Qiqi home.
- Help Liu Fen’s mother find her child: follow the footprints, defeat the thugs, find Liu Fen behind the well, and bring her home.
Once all six are completed, the final task, “Returning Guest” (归来客), unlocks—go talk to Grandpa Pan (潘阿公)
