The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a 5200mAh battery and support 60W wired fast charging.

November 24 — Leaker @刹那数码 revealed on Weibo today that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will ship with a 5200 mAh battery and will be lighter than its predecessor.

For context, Samsung has stuck with a 5000 mAh battery in its Ultra lineup since the Galaxy S20 Ultra — a full five years without change. If the rumor proves true, the S26 Ultra’s battery capacity will increase by 4% over the S25 Ultra. While the upgrade appears modest, combined with a more advanced display panel and a newer chipset, it is expected to deliver noticeably improved battery life.

According to SamMobile, the device is also projected to support 60 W wired fast charging, a significant jump from the 45 W on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Additionally, earlier ETNews reports cited by IT Home indicate that Samsung plans to equip the Galaxy S26 Ultra with 25 W wireless charging — compared to the current 15 W, this would cut charging time by roughly 40%, allowing a full charge in about one hour.

Given Samsung’s long-standing adoption of the Qi wireless charging standard, all three models in the Galaxy S26 series are expected to support the Qi 2.2 standard. Previously leaked renders have also shown that the trio will incorporate built-in magnets (for MagSafe-like functionality).
