US independent game developer Astral Clocktower Studios is thrilled to announce that the official PlayStation 5 demo for its dark fantasy action RPG, Kristala, launched globally on November 12 and has received an overwhelmingly positive response worldwide. On its very first day, the demo skyrocketed to the second-highest position on the global PS5 demo download charts, highlighting its massive appeal in the international market.
Game Showcase at WePlay Expo 2025
At the upcoming WePlay Expo 2025 in Shanghai, Astral Clocktower Studios will present the latest version of Kristala to Chinese players. Visitors can get hands-on with the demo at the Kristala booth, chat directly with the development team, and pick up exclusive event-limited merchandise — including collectible postcards, stickers, and memorable limited-edition souvenirs created just for WePlay.
Kristala is set in the cursed world of Ailur. Players step into the paws of an agile feline warrior, honing their skills in fast-paced, precision-based combat while uncovering the secrets of ancient magic and the various feline clans. Key features include parkour-inspired fluid movement, deep and comprehensive character customization, and a branching magic system tied to the “Six Sacred Kristals.”

Following the strong reception on PlayStation, Astral Clocktower Studios plans to release an Xbox Series X|S demo in early December, with plans to expand to additional console platforms.
Kristala is currently available in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store, with the full 1.0 version scheduled to launch across multiple platforms in early 2026. The 1.0 release will include the first three main story chapters, and all Early Access players will receive the remaining two chapters as free DLC updates after launch.
Every Early Access player will also be gifted Deluxe Edition content when the full 1.0 version arrives. For the latest updates, players can join the official QQ group and follow the game’s accounts on Bilibili and Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). Official Weibo and Douyin channels are coming soon.
