When you arrive in the Ghost Market, you’ll see the old man who gave you the “Borrow‑Path of Ghost Soldiers (阴兵借道)” quest. Don’t accept his quest immediately — note his location and come back later.

Then set the in‑game time to about 19:00, when the Ghost Market begins. At the market entrance, activate the fast‑travel stone, then talk to a disciple of the Nine Mortal Ways (九流门) to leave the market.

After you exit, you’ll encounter law enforcement — the guards will reveal that the group you believed you were helping was actually a fraud / con artist
