Twitter user @Pirat_Nation discovered today that an artist from Starfield has joined CD Projekt Red’s Boston studio, which serves as the core development team for the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel (Project Orion).

Many players in the comments expressed concern, arguing that developers from Starfield might bring “woke ideology” into CDPR. Others, however, pointed out that this developer mainly worked on environment art and materials, suggesting their influence on character design or narrative direction would be minimal.

According to earlier reports, CDPR has been steadily expanding the development team for the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel. Jess Scott, former Gameplay Programming Director at Bungie, has officially joined the project. The sequel entered pre-production at the end of May this year, and with CDPR continuing to ramp up hiring, many expect the new title to surpass its predecessor in scale, technology, and gameplay, aiming to deliver a more refined and immersive cyberpunk experience.
