On December 2, Battlestate Games officially announced that streamer Tigz has become the very first player to achieve the status of an “Escapee” in Escape from Tarkov.

Escape from Tarkov is known for its freedom of gameplay, rich content, and gritty realism. While the game may appear overwhelming or overly hardcore at first glance, that is precisely what makes it so compelling. It suits players who enjoy digging deep, researching, and exploring every system. In fact, it is often more accurate to describe it as a gun-focused RPG rather than a traditional FPS.

The game officially released on November 15, bringing with it a large number of new storyline quests, finally lifting the veil on many of the game’s long-standing mysteries. By completing these quests, players can unlock four different endings.

Game director Nikita Buyanov also commented on this achievement, noting that the ending Tigz reached is considered one of the “worst” endings—not the worst, but definitely not a good one either.

In a previous interview, Nikita mentioned:

“Achieving the perfect ending is extremely difficult. For players, it will become a lifetime achievement goal.”

The team hopes that Tigz’s accomplishment will serve as a stepping stone toward discovering the perfect ending someday.

In addition, the first player to achieve the perfect ending in PvP mode will receive a special gift from Nikita himself.
