Garrison Mission — Ruoshui Shore (弱水岸)

Go to the Living Doctors’ Clinic (Huoren Clinic / 活人医馆) at Ruoshui Shore, near Buxianxian.

Find Yao Yaoyao (姚药药) to upgrade your maximum number of medicines you can carry—you’ll want to come back to her often in the future. She can also treat specific injuries; if your condition is too severe for her to handle, you’ll need to request treatment from other players online.

Ask Yao Yaoyao to unlock the second floor, then climb the ladder up.

On the second floor, there are many treasure chests. Examine the small knife and the ledger on the table, then check the window to notice a well outside.

Shoot a rocket to burn away the vines, then jump into the well.

This is a mandatory primary story garrison mission. In the quest list, it’s also categorised under Fragment quests (残章任务), but its world-map icon is different from that of regular Fragment quests.

Along the way, keep shooting rockets to light lamps for visibility.

As you go deeper, you’ll encounter the Faceless Ones (无面人). Be careful: stepping on certain floor tiles will trigger hidden projectile traps.

At the end of the path, there’s a hole—jump down to the lower level. You must step on a switch before the door can be opened.

In the hall, you’ll meet the Faceless Ones’ leader Cheng Xin (程心) in front of a statue. Please pick up the sheet music first, then take the jade flute and play it.

Play while standing on the stone slab to lure the Faceless Ones over, then you’ll be able to open the door.

Continue to the end to reach the treasury. Read the mysterious manual—practice any three martial arts from it and you’ll pass out.

Go outside and interact with the phantom.

After interacting with three different phantoms, squeeze through the narrow gap ahead to prepare for the boss fight.

Boss tips:

• When Xunxin (寻心) has three flames appear above her head, she’s about to fire fireballs—dodge to the side.
• After you remove one full health bar, she will unleash a lightning ultimate that can instantly kill you—quickly find cover and crouch to hide.

After talking to Cheng Xin, go up the stairs, push the door open to speak with Dou Doudou (窦豆豆), then climb the ladder to leave.
