Fragment Quest — As the Rivers and Mountains Endure (河山如故)

Go to the ruins in the southern part of Baicao Wilds (百草野南部遗址).

Talk to Lie Bujin (烈不尽) at the main gate to obtain Clue 1.

Push the gate open to enter the ruined city. Keep your distance and eavesdrop on the enemies’ conversation, then shoot an explosive barrel to wipe them out.

After entering, turn left. Rescue Lie Bumie (烈不灭) at the training ground on the left side.

After talking to Lie Bumie, open the chest to get Clue 2 — a Treasure Map, and light the torch next to it.

Check the treasure map: you entered from the front gate and are now standing at the left training ground.
You’ve already lit the left torch. The two torches on the right are already lit, so the only one remaining is the final torch marked on the map.

Explore the ruins to loot a few chests, then go light the torch on the rooftop.

Once all four torches are lit, return to the training ground. Stand on the round platform, jump and perform a plunge to activate the mechanism and reveal a path down to the underground area.

In the underground area, examine the corpse to obtain Clue 3.

Proceed forward—watch out for the rope blocking the way; crouch to pass underneath.

Touch the general statue, then solve the character-puzzle mechanism on the wall.
Based on Clue 3—“山河寸土，誓死不易”—press the tiles on both side walls that do not belong to those eight characters. This will open the door ahead.

Continue to a waterfall. Inspect the waterwheel to obtain Clue 4, and loot any chests by the water.
Enter the waterfall and touch the mechanism to activate the waterwheel, which in turn opens the door ahead. Also note: above the general statue inside the waterfall area, there’s a treasure chest.

At the end of the path, open the large chest to obtain the Mystic Art (奇术): “Void-Piercing One Finger” (凌虚一指). On the table, pick up Lie Yan’s Final Letter (烈言绝笔) (you can read it from your inventory).

Finally, examine the writing on the wall to complete the quest. Then turn back and interact with the marked symbol to fast-travel out of the underground secret chamber.
