Obsidian’s new release, The Outer Worlds 2, has only been out for about a month, yet it’s already on sale on Steam. The game’s standard price in the China (Mainland) Steam store is 298 RMB; it’s currently 20% off, bringing the price down to 238 RMB, which is a new historical low.

This promotion is part of the Xbox Game Studios Black Friday Sale. Alongside The Outer Worlds 2, titles such as Ninja Gaiden 4, Gears of War: Reloaded, Avowed, South of Midnight, and Forza Horizon 5 are also discounted to varying degrees.

The Outer Worlds 2 launched on October 30 this year and has received mixed feedback. On Steam, only 63% of users have left positive reviews (based on roughly 600 Chinese-language reviews). On Metacritic, the user reception is similarly lukewarm, with a user score of 6.8.
