Assassin’s Creed Witch-Hunt–Themed New Title “Codename Hexe” Director Revealed

A recent discovery from Ubisoft Montréal employee Benoit Richer’s LinkedIn profile has shed light on the leadership behind Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe. Richer's career in the game industry began at Ubisoft in 1998, where he contributed to multiple Rainbow Six titles and Far Cry: Instincts.
He later served as Lead Artist at Microids Canada, became Lead Level Design Director for Army of Two: The 40th Day at EA Montréal, and directed Batman: Arkham Origins at WB Games Montréal.

Richer eventually returned to Ubisoft as a Game Director, overseeing the psychological thriller VR title Transference, followed by Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. He is now leading the development of Assassin’s Creed: Hexe.
