What We Know About Project Sabbath

• Project Sabbath was a cancelled Batman game by WB Games Montréal, intended as a sequel to Batman: Arkham Knight, set about 10 years after the events of that title. 
• It was reportedly to star Damian Wayne as the new Batman, while Bruce Wayne would appear as an older, possibly wounded, mentor figure. Some concept art shows him with a beard, using a cane or leg support. 
• The setting appears more dystopian than previous Arkham games. Gotham City would be in decay; the tone was going to be darker and more mature. Some aesthetic influences seem to draw from Batman Beyond and Dark Knight Rises.

What Remains Unclear / Why It Was Cancelled

• Although several leaks (concept art, design documents) surfaced over the years, Project Sabbath never officially released or fully announced in public.
• Voice actor Josh Keaton claimed involvement (Damian Wayne), but whether leaks themselves caused the cancellation is disputed. Some sources say leaks contributed; others say not. 
• The project seems to have been quietly shelved sometime between 2016-2019, and parts of its ideas may have been reworked or absorbed into Gotham Knights and other DC projects.
