Samsung’s first triple-fold smartphone is expected to launch next month, with reservations already open at Samsung’s authorised offline stores. Pricing details have not been announced yet.

On November 13, renowned leaker Evan Blass revealed that Samsung’s upcoming tri-fold device will be officially named the Galaxy Z TriFold.

The phone features a 6.5-inch external display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, offering a conventional smartphone experience even when closed. When unfolded, it transforms into a 10-inch inner screen, effectively turning the device into a portable tablet. The inner display reportedly reaches a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

modezone.com notes that, due to the complex tri-fold design, the Galaxy Z TriFold has an uneven body thickness. According to the leak, the three folded segments measure 3.9 mm, 4.0 mm, and 4.2 mm, respectively (the exact distribution is unclear). When fully folded, the total thickness is approximately 14 mm. The device’s weight remains unknown at this time.

In terms of imaging, the Galaxy Z TriFold is said to feature Samsung’s most powerful camera system to date: a 200-megapixel primary sensor — very likely the same unit that will appear on the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 7 — delivering significantly improved detail and low-light performance.

For battery life, the device has a rated capacity of 5,437 mAh (with a typical capacity of around 5,600 mAh) and supports 45W wired fast charging.
