September 16 News – Pocketpair announced today that Palworld will soon conclude its Early Access phase, with the milestone Version 1.0 set to launch in 2026. To mark the release, the development team is preparing an unprecedented large-scale content update.

Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe stated that Palworld has already received five updates since its debut.

Developers noted that no major updates will be released before the official version, and even the upcoming winter update will not match the scale of the earlier “Sakurajima” expansion. Instead, they are reserving a massive amount of new content for Version 1.0 and will share progress on development in the near future.

Palworld entered Early Access on January 19, 2024, priced at 108 RMB in the Steam China region, and is currently on sale for 81 RMB—its lowest price to date. Within just one month of release, the game surpassed 25 million players and achieved 15 million sales on Steam.

The crossover update with Terraria (v0.60) was launched in June 2025. Palworld is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series, and Steam.
