✅ To unlock Scaramouche’s story quest/interlude (as the Wanderer)
- You must complete Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises (that’s Chapter III: Act V of the Archon Quest).
- Also required: complete A Strange and Friendless Road — which is the first act of the story-quest for Kaedehara Kazuha.
- Player must be at a sufficiently high Adventure Rank (≥ 40).
Once those conditions are met, the interlude chapter quest (called Inversion of Genesis) — featuring Scaramouche / the Wanderer — becomes available and will show up in your quest list.
⚔️ To unlock Scaramouche as a weekly boss (domain fight)
If what you meant by “quest” is the boss fight against him (the mech-based boss):
- You must complete the main-story quest chain through Chapter III: Act V — specifically finishing the “Where the Boat of Consciousness Lies” quest (which is the 4th quest in Act V).
- That unlocks the domain Joururi Workshop (in Chinvat Ravine, Sumeru), where you can challenge him.
You only need to meet the story-quest prerequisite, not a separate “Scaramouche-specific” quest. Once unlocked, it's a weekly boss domain (resets weekly).
