The comment came as a direct reply to an X user who suggested replacing Siri with Grok 4.1 and bluntly called the current Siri “outdated” and “painfully stupid,” arguing the market desperately needs a more intelligent voice assistant.

Musk’s response was just three words: “I’m down,” instantly signaling strong interest in the collaboration.

xAI released Grok 4.1 only days ago, with significant improvements in reasoning, empathetic interaction, creativity, and — crucially — a heavy focus on reducing AI “hallucinations” for more accurate, reliable responses.

A potential Grok-powered Siri could mark one of the most significant leaps in consumer AI assistants in years. Apple has yet to comment.
