Realistic Traffic System

The core goal of this mod is to make the in-game traffic system more realistic. It dynamically adds vehicle types that exist in the base game but do not normally appear on the streets, depending on the district of Night City. For example:

• Gangs patrol their own territories.

• Police vehicles appear in wealthy districts.

• Taxis and buses circulate through the city center.

• Delamain’s self-driving cars and large trucks populate the industrial zones.

• Militech and Wraith vehicles roam the Badlands.

• The Kabuki area sees Moxes members driving around.

Customizable Traffic Configuration

Even more cleverly, players can freely tweak these settings through an intuitive menu. Want to fill an area with scavengers or increase police patrol density? You can easily do that. Other areas can be balanced accordingly to create your ideal version of Night City’s ecosystem.

Modded Vehicle Integration

The mod also supports integrating custom vehicles into the game’s traffic. Players just need to add the appropriate entity name (e.g., Vehicle.oranje3_militech_legatus for the Militech Legatus SPD-10) into the file:

Performance and Compatibility

The author notes that replacing vehicle types does not inherently affect performance — frame rate depends on traffic density and the player’s hardware. In certain scenarios, especially when adding many modded vehicles, performance may drop.
