Google announced yesterday that it is teaming up with NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud‑gaming platform to launch a new subscription service called Fast Pass, exclusively for Chromebook users.

With Fast Pass, Chromebook owners can play over 2,000 PC games via cloud streaming. They can link their Steam, Epic Games, Xbox or other game libraries—no need to purchase games again.

This service offers 1080p at 60fps, with no advertisements and no queueing. Users receive 10 hours of cloud gaming per month, with up to 5 hours carried over to the next month.

Any new Chromebook purchaser or existing Chromebook user who is new or on a free-tier plan on GeForce NOW will receive one year of free Fast Pass. Pricing for a standalone Fast Pass subscription has not been disclosed yet.
