Monster Hunter Wilds — Upcoming December Update Changes (from the Feedback Report)

1) ★9 Event Quests

Q: Please add event quests for ★ nine monsters.
A: Starting with the 4th game update, event quests featuring ★9 “Tempered” individuals will be added in sequence.

2) Photo Mode: Getting Pushed Out of Frame

Q: In Photo Mode, the editor sometimes pushes the hunter, shifting the camera framing.
A: This will be adjusted so that the editor in Photo Mode will no longer push the hunter.

3) Using Items While Riding the Seikret

Q: Please prevent item usage from being interrupted while riding the Seikret.
A: While riding the Seikret, even if it triggers auto-evasion, it will not interrupt item use.

4) Nata Gathering Commissions: “Claim All” Visibility

Q: When claiming all rewards at once, the obtained materials aren’t shown, which is unclear.
A: When using Claim All for Nata’s gathering commissions, the game will show a list of materials obtained.

5) Supply Confirmation Screen: Make Space in the Item Pouch

Q: On the supply confirmation screen, we want a way to free up pouch space.
A: A new option will be added to the submenu: discard items from your pouch directly on that screen.

New Upgrade Systems (Starting from the 4th Update)

6) Weapon: New Upgrade for Rarity 8 “Mechanical” Weapons

A: Using exclusive materials from the Giant Halberd Dragon, you can upgrade Rarity 8 mechanical weapons.

• Upgrades inherit existing bonuses.
• Randomly adds 1 “Series Skill” and 1 “Combination Skill.”
• Restoration upgrades using materials like Seven-Colored Ore may trigger more substantial restoration bonuses

7) Armor: “Limit Break Enhancement” at HR 100

A: From the 4th update onward, hunters who reach HR 100 can further strengthen High Rank armor via “Limit Break Enhancement”.

• Raises/removes prior enhancement caps
• Rarity 5–6 armor can also get improved decoration slots

Crafting / Materials Economy

8) Smelting Kiln: Increase Point Values for Some Materials

A: The 4th update will increase the refining value of some materials used in:

• “Refine Seven-Colored Ore
• “Refine Armor Spheres

9) Make Armor Spheres Easier to Obtain

A: The 4th update will:

• Add permanent event quests that help you get Heavy Armor Spheres more easily.
• Increase the number of Armor Spheres (including Heavy) from limited-time reward targets

★9 Monster Additions

10) Add More ★9 Monsters (Field Presence & Multi-Target Quests)

A: From the 4th update onward, ★9 Rathalos will appear in the field and also be a target in some multi-monster quests. You can save it as an Investigation for repeat challenges.
