Call of Duty Official Announces End to Consecutive Modern Warfare and Black Ops Releases

Recently, the official Call of Duty team released a retrospective on Black Ops 7, which included thanks to players for their support, reflections on the game's underwhelming performance, and a commitment that future releases will strive to meet and even exceed expectations.

Beyond this, the Call of Duty team also announced another piece of news:

"We will no longer release consecutive Modern Warfare or Black Ops series games. There are many reasons for this, but the primary one is to ensure we can deliver an absolutely unique gaming experience every year."

As we know, the 19th and 20th installments in the Call of Duty series were two consecutive Modern Warfare titles, while the 21st and 22nd installments were two consecutive Black Ops titles.
