Previously, we reported that after being cancelled in 2024 and 2025, BlizzCon is making its comeback in September 2026. According to the official notice, the event will take place September 12–13, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Blizzard revealed that the event is currently being planned to include an opening ceremony, in-depth developer panels, a “Darkmoon Faire” themed activity, fun competitions, and gameplay previews.
Early this morning, Blizzard officially announced ticket details for the event. According to the announcement:
- Early Bird Pass: On sale beginning 1:00 AM Beijing time on November 8, priced at US $250 (including tax and fees). Includes two-day access and a commemorative in-game item.
- Standard Weekend Pass: On sale from November 18, priced at US $290 — US $10 cheaper than the 2023 standard pass — and likewise grants full access for both Saturday and Sunday.
- Fans can also choose additional add-on activities:
- Charity Night: Priced at US $500; an exclusive event with Blizzard developers, artists, and community representatives. (Note: This ticket does not include general convention access; all proceeds go to the Make‑A‑Wish Foundation.)
- Darkmoon Faire Theme Event: Optional add-on, priced at US $90; for ticket-holders to attend a three-hour exclusive Saturday-night experience.
Though Blizzard is keeping many specifics under wraps, it has confirmed that the opening ceremony will include a “major” content reveal, indicating that a brand-new title or major update might be unveiled. The schedule is expected to include the return of Blizzard Arcade, developer panels, and playable experiences for games like World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, and Diablo Immortal.
