According to users on Reddit, iOS 26.2 finally breaks that limitation: even when offline, users can view synchronized lyrics in Apple Music.
For years, offline lyrics have been a highly requested feature by Apple Music users. The scenarios are very clear: on a plane with no network, you want to sing along with a new album; or in a weak-signal area where streaming services don’t work, you still want to see the lyrics. Previously, in such conditions, Apple Music’s lyrics function would fail to appear.
